The swedish singer Arvid Fagerfjäll is known for direct and expressive interpretations and a versatile voice. As a concert singer, Arvid has performed at prestigious venues such as the Rudolfinum in Prague, Wigmore Hall inLondon, Konserthuset in Stockholm, and the Schubertiade Barcelona. In recent years, radio and television recordings have been produced for Dlf, NDR, and Arte. Together with pianist Hikaru Kanki, Arvid forms an award-winning song duo. They won First Prize at the IVC ’s-Hertogenbosch LiedDuo Competition (2021) and Second Prize at the Wigmore Hall/Bollinger International Song Competition (2022) and regularly perform at venues across Europe. Since 2024, Arvid has been a member of the ensemble at Theater Bremen. From

2022 to 2024, Arvid was engaged at Theater Plauen-Zwickau and appeared as a guest at Theater für Niedersachsen, Theater Aachen, and Oper Leipzig. Arvid’s training took place in Italy and Germany at CdM Firenze, HMT Leipzig, and HMTM Hannover, where they completed the Konzertexamen in 2023 under the guidance of Prof. Peter Anton Ling. Important artistic influences were received from Prof. Jan-Philip Schulze, KS Prof. Regina Werner-Dietrich,and Monica Thomasson, as well as from masterclasses with Anne Le Bozec, Ian Bostridge, Peter Berne, and Peter Schreier.
